Your profileYou have strong troubleshooting skill and hand-on experience on installing, configuring, maintaining and tuning of one of the following products : WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere MQ Server, WebSphere Message Broker.
However, your knowledge stems from the real world, not just from books or courses.
You have enough knowledge of Networks, Database Servers and Operating Systems (Unix/Linux/Windows) allowing you to pinpoint and tackle both product and performance problems related to any of these areas. In this function you will have to interact strongly with platform and network system engineers, so speaking a common language is a must.
In this job, teaming, capability, eagerness to learn quickly and flexibility are of the utmost importance. Maintenance windows on production systems can be outside of normal working hours, so this is not a 9 to 5 job.
