Description

As a Systems Engineer specialized in Server Management, your task will be to assist and/or perform installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows 2003/2008 physical and virtual environments. This will include support of these environments and of the applications running on such servers. 

Your profile

You have several years of IT experience with a focus on backup/recovery, disaster recovery, asset management and problem and change management. Your skills and knowledge include Active Directory, Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services and general networking technologies. Additionally, you should be skilled or certified in one or more of the following domains: VMware, Citrix, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, System Center, firewalls and security. Skills in Windows and Unix environments are considered an advantage. You're mainly interested in doing Systems Management, systems support, production maintenance and new infrastructure implementations. 

On a personal level, you tend to take the initiative; you assume responsibility for the issues at hand. You have the insight to correctly diagnose server and network problems and solve them. You work equally well on your own as you do in teams; you communicate with your fellow team members in Dutch, French and English.
